If wall is made up from a wood then you can use a simple nail while on the other hand if it is making up from concrete then I suggest you to make a whole with drill machine & use a screw. Similarly arrange the furniture in such a way that the painting is visible from every sitting position. The center of the wall is the best place to hang the paining while you can judge it according to the setting of the room. Also use dim light as a highlighter below the painting so that I can add more attention & pleasant look to the place.
